MISSION STATEMENT

To strengthen families by building strong, Christ-centered marriages through biblical marriage mentoring

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We see marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, where they are joined as husband and wife. We believe that the foundation of a strong family lies in the bond between husband and wife. A healthy marriage contributes to a healthy family. We believe in the potential for personal growth and transformation, and we believe that marriages can flourish when guided by biblical principles and practical tools.

Furthermore, we believe that churches and businesses can experience growth by adhering to biblical principles and fostering strong relationships.

ABOUT THE FOUNDERS

Discover a couple who Dared to be Different!

Matt and Pam Loehr, Founders of Dare to be Different, made a significant career shift from corporate roles to answer their calling to full-time marriage ministry. Matt, previously an engineer and operations manager for 18 years, became ordained, while Pam served as a registered nurse for 22 years. Together, they established Dare to be Different, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families through empowering marriages.

Matt and Pam are driven by a shared passion for helping couples build and maintain healthy, Christ-centered relationships. As founders, authors, and mentors, they offer a unique blend of insight and wisdom that resonates with people of all ages.

A key part of the Loehrs' vision for cultivating lifelong marriages is equipping a team of biblical marriage mentors. These mentors provide invaluable support to couples navigating challenges or seeking to enrich their marital journey. Their mentoring approach, grounded in biblical principles, combined with practical strategies, demonstrates its effectiveness through the positive impact on countless couples.

ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP

In 2015, Dare to be Different entered into a partnership with Love and Respect to offer a marriage mentoring program like none other. President of Love and Respect, Dr. Emerson Eggerichs has authored several books, including the national bestseller Love & Respect. Emerson and his wife Sarah bring three decades of counseling as well as scientific and biblical research to our mentoring process. They believe in our method of mentoring as deeply as we believe in their message of Love and Respect. Together we offer the best marriage mentoring available, specializing in mentoring for couples in crisis.
